HMAS Brunei Battle Honours
[edit]Hi, Just to correct the entry under HMAS Brunei Battle Honours: HMAS Brunei served in East Timor (Timor Leste) later than your article suggests. The ship was part of Op TANAGER under United Nations Trasitional Administration - East Timor (UNTAET) during most of year 2000. 58.168.127.96 (talk) 03:56, 23 May 2013 (UTC)
- The dates of Brunei's deployments for which the battle honour was awarded are cited in the body of the article. All three of these fall within the timeframe for INTERFET and Op Stabilise/Warden (which ended 28 February). Brunei no doubt made other deployments throughout the rest of 2000 onwards to 2002 which fell under UNTAET, but the East Timor honour does not recognise these. I've added some info to the article to reflect the UNTAET operations (although the source I have is incredibly vague about the whens and whats). -- saberwyn 11:13, 24 May 2013 (UTC)
ex-HMAS Brunei
[edit]HMAS Brunei is now in the Philippine Navy and is now renamed BRP Ivatan (AT-298). The name of this page must be changed Dunno2014 (talk) 08:04, 27 July 2015 (UTC)
- Its all a little messy at the moment. See Talk:Balikpapan-class_landing_craft_heavy#Article structure for ships transferred from the RAN. -- saberwyn 11:00, 27 July 2015 (UTC)
